My two Mics suffer from some inconsistency And I'm still trying to hunt down the reasons .i'm only getting 44 volts out of my API style preamp to the microphone .this should be enough for the MKs 47 correct ?

44V before or after the 6k8's? It's normal for it to look lower than 48 at the mic.

I've beenl chasing drum sounds
I got with MK 47 microphones for months but for some reason it has disappeared. It's like the life was sucked out of the mic
