As someone making their own cables, which are installed in a fixed installation - the Neutrik's are SOOOOO much easier to deal with. On a variety if assembly fronts.

Having built a bunch of both, I prefer the Switchcraft. I don't find them any harder to assemble. I've had problems with the Neutrik pressure grip on some fatter wire types. I like the build of the Neutrik TRS/TS better, but they are harder to solder up, AND they don't always play well with Switchcraft hi-Z instrument outputs.

Ease of soldering should be a consideration, as should the quality of a solder joint you can make and depend on. I've melted a few Neutrik's trying to get the solder points hot enough to tin!
