Is it a 3 to 1 rule or something? Seems like I read somewhere from some guru that they're supposed to be like 66 inches apart...blah, blah. I actually have them about that far apart...Just wondering.

Triangle with you however far they are but not too far apart for nearfields or I think you loose low end feel for mixing. 3 feet apart 3 feet back from each speaker... 5 feet apart 5 feet back from the speaker... perfect triangle... no more then 5 feet IMHO

I cant remember for sure, but i'm almost positive that a 6' triangle is perfect for nearfields... Also JK, the pro ac's are meant to have the tweets on the closest side to the listener..i think, some time alignment thing with cross overs or some shit..? you may want to verify it's not the other way around.
