Is this a joke? If so, it's not very funny. Or is she serious? If so, she sure is annoying...

She actually nails it and that shit drives me nuts.
Wrong angle for the video though. She should have been filet-ing it. She's actually really trying to teach people how to do it.

All these singers are trying to sound like a bad Ella Fitzgerald without knowing who Ella Fitzgerald actually is.

Lived too long in San Francisco, I guess... I know too many girls who really talk like her, especially with that annoying little sibilance that sneaks in and affects me like fingernails on a blackboard while rubbing a rubber balloon...

And that's why it's funny. She's making fun of it.

No wonder I can't understand a word from most of the pop singers. I just thought it was lazy lips.

IMO, this is much too informative to be a total joke, at least for an old-timer like me (I actually learned something). Yes, there's the tongue in cheek, on the edge of snarky delivery, but the age of the singer and her mastery of the genre belies her confused and complex intertwined relationship with the style she is mocking.

This style of singing drives me crazy, but she nails exactly what they are doing.

It's clearly tongue-in-cheek. I thought it was clever, almost an inside joke for musicians. If you didn't get it, think along these lines;
