Does anyone use this? or did you find other software more usable? Not sure what else is out there that does this as easy.

Been using it for over a decade now I'd guess. Since the first Stylus (NON RMX). I use it for everything from drums and percussion (the obvious things) to sax licks, guitar parts, bass lines, etc.. A very useful program. I will easily import REX files, so the horizon is pretty endless.... Highly recommended

I probably don't use it to its full potential...Basically just use it for loops and one shots. Need to delve into it more to build beats and stuff.

I've been using Stylus RMX since it was only Stylus, chaos designer can create some really interesting pattern variations.
If you're looking to see what else it can do other than operate as a "loop player", check out John "Skippy" Lehmkuhl's website pluginguru.com
He sells add on packs to a lot of different products many people here probably use BUT his video's are very good and can show you additional capabilities.
I am surprised RMX has not been updated in a very long time but it's still very good at what it does.

I was watching a producer in Nashville build tracks around an acoustic guitar and a vocal. He was using Stylus RMX and it was really cool how he was able to get the song tweaked in just with a few samples from this software. I am writing some new stuff with two artists, and moving into a diffferent genre but I thought this would make things easier. If I have a beat in my head I want to be able to get it down quick and I want it to sound good and real. This seems to do that well. Thanks guys.
