I use one of the original MTi Ravens. I use it with Pro Tools and Studio One, but it also works fine without having the Slate macros if you just want to us it as a large iPad. For example, I mess around with Harrison Mixbus 32C and I an control everything right from the screen. For me it offers really good workflow and works really well. I've thought about getting the Avid S3 to have real faders but not sure I want to give up all the other features I get with the Raven.

Hey,
So you accommodated its touch screen design easily enough ? Any gripes ?

The touch screen was pretty easy to get used to. The fine fader mode makes it real easy to get precise fader adjustments, the macros speed up workflow. It also has a pretty good iPad app that really helps if you are recording yourself. Its not like real faders that you can just grab, but it works well and they are pretty easy to get used to.

With Pro Tools I can have 22 tracks displayed at a time on the screen.
