Perhaps your answer won't be found in another plugin.

I tried the free one I thought all it did was add some scratch, hiss Thought maybe the Waves plugin would actually try to get some vinyl warmth ,vibe like tape or console plugins . Probably not but a lot of us keep chasing the console ,tape sound

"....Add authentic vintage vinyl sound to your tracks Add phase distortion; noise, pops and crackles; wow and flutter; modulation....." I got that when my buffer settings were too low ...............

Wow, I really like what this waves vinyl plugin is doing. I have never liked waves plugins always finding them second rate compared to UAD but that seems to be changing. First the Abbey Road Plate blows away the UAD Plate 140 and now this plugin is givig me more of what I was trying to get out of the UAD tape plugins. I love it on vocals.

I searched for this because I just started using it too. Really, really love the tonal nuance this adds. Really love the lacquer/DJ Arm thingy. Really brings a nice crispness without being harsh.

Funny my old vinyl lp's that's not what gives them the warmth and vibe . When they pop and scratch And cracked I bought new a copie . Never knew anyone bought vinyl to get that pop and scratch sound hmmm ,didn't know that was the attraction to vinyl.

Perhaps your answer won't be found in another plugin. By this reasoning why are most of the people on here using tape sim plugins ? It just seems if we're chasing the old analog sound the recording chain back then was Console , to Tape , Pressed to vinyl. A lot of people on here are using console emulation then tape emulating plugins seems last piece in the chain should by vinyl But hey what the fuck do I know

I turn the noise, pops, clicks completely off. I found myself adding a tiny bit of crackle - the tiniest bit - to make things not so perfect. What I am liking about this is the tonal qualities you can get out of it. Try it. You can hear it.

I think I'll wait for the poorly maintained cassette deck tape plugin. Extra wow and flutter, bad azimuth, dirty heads and flat spotted pinch roller!

This seems like a great deal for a little dirt and modulation. $29 seems like a no brainer. I just picked it up.
