My favorite old t-shirt read " I'm not an asshole I mix FOH"
Most FOH guys I know got their attitude mixing one off wedges.
My most ass hat moment was doing FOH and TD for a A-hole comic who thought it was funny to start faking the wireless dying makeing me run up to the stage with the back up only to punch line it, I got back to the board told my lightboard op and spot on my 3 count we go dark and mute till I say so !
THAT GOT THE BIGGEST LAUGH OF THE WHOLE NIGHT!
When we brought him back he replies "I forgot rule #1 of show biz DON'T FUCK WITH THE SOUND GUY!
I heard he never pulled that gag again!
