I have to say that the Kemper is the best piece of guitar gear that I've bought in many, many years. If it's a non-cartage session, that's what I take. I set it up on cartage sessions as well because there are amps/sounds in there that I don't have in the cartage rig. Having a virtually unlimited number of amps at your disposal in that small of a package is phenomenal. Plug it in, xlr line level out, done. Best thing since 456.

No problem man! I'm going to fire that your way sometime this week. I found an AC15 on the used market so I bought it today, good price and I can't get the Kemper to go for practices. Through the PA it sounds really lousy, I've tried it with the cab sim off and on to no avail. I've made a post about it at my Tumblr with the clip I sent JohnKenn theblueandredroom.tumblr.com/You guys can check it out for yourselves.

I really don't know what I was smoking...I've been playing around with a Soundside.de 1959 Bassman that is just phenomenal. My GAS was clouding my judgement. I think I sent that one to you, bobbritt

Doing a new record on Etta, and all I've used is the Kemper.

For me.... I'll never Kemper, a lot of my good friends which are great musicians do. They sound great in the studio once you know exactly what sound you want and you start tracking... For me, every single song I change my mic position , guitar, cab, amp to match and texture. I HATE modeling live without a tube amp in the chain.... HATE!
