There's one available for super cheap...just wondering if it would be worth it now that I sold the Kemper. BTW - you can use it in any DAW, right?

you sold the kemper! it'll work with any daw as far as I know. I read about a guy using it with ableton.
totally worth it, I've never been disappointed. does it have the expansion pack firmware update?

Yeah...it was probably dumb...but I found myself using about 2-4 profiles all the time...and then I tried Positive Grid Bias FX...and thought the Tweed/AC30/Plexi sounded awesome. I just finished a song that turned out great with Bias...but it's definitely not as convenient as using the Kemper. After thinking about it, I'll probably skip the Eleven, though. Heard a few youtube videos and wasn't really impressed.

You're chasing the dragon, that I can guarantee! It sounds exactly like my 1983 marshall jcm 800, passed that, I can't compare to other real amps. The ampeg settings do a really good bass amp.
It's also a good quick 2 channel AD/DA should you need something elsewhere for a project in a pinch, fully functioning DAW interface etc.

Bias just announced a 2u rack version! Maybe you can get one to demo for the site!

Why did you sell the kemper?

Because I'm a glutton for punishment. Always trying to spend my money in the best places...I found myself using the same 3-4 profiles over and over and just thought, damn, $1600 for three sounds...could probably get similar results for much cheaper...and that seems to be the case. Although, the Kemper was plug in and go and the plugins add a pita factor to it. If I was independently wealthy I would have kept it. Who knows - probably end up with another one.

John, You will end up with another one!!! You have to, don't disappoint, and I might just sell you mine so I can buy another one 6 months to a year from now....lol. I understand, I have a gear demon too...lol. It's just so enjoyably tangible!

Eleven Rack is still a current model and I'm told the preamp and converters alone are probably the most for the money available.
