Really easy if you call just crushing everything and adding a smiley curve mastering!

Really easy if you call just crushing everything and adding a smiley curve mastering! Do you really think that's all they do? I don't doubt that there's a kernel of truth to what you say, but for the money they're charging, (on a per genre basis) each mix better be quite different and should involve at least a certain level of analysis across frequencies. It may be basic stuff for engineers who can hear these things easily, but not so much for others. I remember trying out LANDR sometime last year on one of my songs, and though it had a few artifacts here and there that made it unusable, it actually sounded quite good and I ended up using it as a reference for when I mastered the tune myself.

I don't know , but I have seen others try to offer similar services and it's always been some priest that was used based on what seamed random, yes I was being dramatic, but real mastering takes ears!

To me the reason for mastering is that a virgin pair of ears is checking my mixes.....

I tried it once, just to see. If I was in a big rush, and needed something mastered really quickly, it would be OK for demo purposes. But, it didn't come close to real mastering.
