I think several of these projects are relatively new, so there's not a ton of info online about them. But I wanted to get some discussion going if anyone's interested, or had experience with these.... the full kits seem like a good value ($450-$650), especially considering that most are stereo processors. They almost all have some mid/side processing capabilities as well. The build documents look really great too.... pcbgrinder.com/index.php?route=product/category&path=64Personally, I'm most interested in the compressors: -MS Veca - SSL Style VCA comp with mid side processing and blend. -MS HOL - Two Channel Opto Compressor -MS76 - Two Channel Fet Compressor Tagging gustav since it's his shop

gustav -- the website says that the full kits include an 'anodized aluminum' faceplate. Are these blank, or labelled? Do you have an example pics of what they look like? Also, with the full kits do the cases come pre-drilled for transformers, pcb mounting, xlrs, etc?

Hi Mitch For the front panels, the full text is "Note that the front panel will be anodized aluminium, not powder coated grey/white.". I'll consider rewording it, since the intention was to make it clear, that they are the same, just not powder coated. You would need to drill one hole for the VECA project (trafo), and five for the HOL (trafo(1) and PSU(4)). This is shown in the assembly guides - the others you mentioned do not require any drilling. Feel free to send me a mail if theres anything else you need to know. (I won't be near a computer the coming week, but Ill be back next weekend). Gustav
