They re-did the layout. Though apparently not everyone is seeing it. On Chrome it's a disaster.

We are on Facebook and Google. Short of paying for AD space, I'm not sure. Considering I already pay more for the site than I take in, I don't see me paying for adspace anywhere.

The very basic design IS free, but most of what you see that looks pleasing to the human eye is or was a charge. Monthly, I pay for ad free on here (so you don't have to see McDonalds ads every 2 inches), also for upload size upgrade (which has been buggy with this site), godaddy for the name and webservers (so it shows up on google), photobucket to host ad pics, adpeeps to run the ad code and rotators. I also made the first ads myself and later found out that unless I pay bannersnack a monthly fee, they cover half of it with a watermark. Live and learn I guess...
I'm not poor-mouthing - but it does add up. Kind of like having a dog.
