A buddy is making room for a second kid and he's selling/giving away all his gear. I persuaded him to keep him American fender strat and tele. Poor guy.
So he gave me a line 6 2x12 combo cabinet sans head (from a project) but also this HD1500 Delay with harmonics.. It seems like a cool piece of kit. Cliff Burton had one in his rack, so that gives me an appreciative nod.
Any suggestions on uses? Mods? I'm in it for 0 dollars, so I'm always down to have some fun with this.
I was reading a thread that people use delays to push their reverbs back for additional pre-delay etc, and that sounds like a way to build a bit more complexity into the sound. I haven't tried it out yet to see what this harmonics thing actually does either.
