Hi guys, I am currently disassembling an old crappy electric organ that's been around in the studio for too long and that I can't stand to see anymore... It's never been working actually, I only used it to hide my important project backups and files. Amazing vault by the way, fireproof I'm sure! The thing is a massive beast and I have no room to store the monster in it's organ form nor the strenght to take it down to the cellar alone so I started disassembling all the parts to stack the pieces in a corner. I removed the three keyboards, electronics, pedals and so on but here I am trying to separate the wooden body parts. It was assembled with I-don't-know-the-name "arrow staples" to hold wooden parts together. They're kinda flabby and I'm scared to break them without getting them out. You can see I already chewed the pictured one a little bit... What can I do? Thanks!! G.

I like circular saws and sledgehammers myself, but maybe you are trying to save pieces intact?

I'd like to, but maybe there is no other way than knocking really hard with a hammer haha

I don't have a clear mental image of that fastener, but it appears like others I've encountered that were never meant to come out. You may have to sacrifice some wood with a Dremel or other tool if you want to save the most without breakage. If you cut it free on one panel it may them pull out of the other.

I'm sure that's the easiest way, except there are 3 of them on each side... That's for the front panel attached to the sides. The bottom seems to be glued.
Thanks Doug!

Amazing, but you seem to have the room for that. I might keep the speakers and some electronics, but the keyboards are worse than those of a DX7.
