Also is there a lot of need for a player only ? I could see the one with the record function they said later down the line 5k euro Still maybe a step in the right direction?
Also makes the Zulu look pretty good deal at 400$ if it works and from the sound samples I like what it does (yes not the same I know but same direction)

Revox is fashionable consumer high dollar gear.

Last weekend a friend of mine just run his old Nakamichi Tape Deck from 1988. I just thought that maybe the tape would be too old, or the machnie would not work. But nope it played back very well and the sound did remind me on the days when I first did hear my own choosen music. After a while we both said the same thing at the same time.... It sounds Lofi but it has a great vibe, it made us make feel good. It seperates mc donlads music of today from listening to music. It was that cool lofi sounding that I did order a Nakamichi CR 1 E from Ebay for 50 €. I guess some of my songs will get that lofi touch in mastering.

So does this mean I can sell my Revox PR99 for $1,000?

So does this mean I can sell my Revox PR99 for $1,000? I paid a lot more than that for mine some years ago. Okay, the bulk went to the Revox Service for a complete overhaul, including new butterfly heads, but still.
