If y'all haven't already signed up, you should sign up now with this link. You'll get a free $10 and if you make a purchase over $50, I will too. Win win. Site is good too, I've been on for a while and already have 36 positive transactions. Some good deals to be had. reverb.com/refer-a-friend/jesse-c

Definitely a better option than Ebay these days.
If only there was a place you could join and not pay any fees for selling your gear...if only.

If only there was a place you could join and not pay any fees for selling your gear...if only. ...A place where professionals and hobbyists could come together, talk about the things that matter in music production, and buy/sell gear to their heart's content. It's too bad there's definitely no place like that. I've never been on a site like that. I mean, who would run a site that operates like that? It has to be out there, right? I know, for 100% certain, all of us on the RGO board wishes there was a place like that. If only we could find it....

They had some weird sale a few months ago where I got two brand new guitar cables for $2 each. They messed up the shipping though so I didn't get them for over a month.
I haven't bought any used gear from them yet, but that seems to be really where the action is at.

I've done enough Craigslisting to float a battleship around and I've never been serially killed.

My first experience buying gear through Reverb was less than stellar.
After paying for an item I discovered Reverb suddenly cancelled my purchase and refunded me my money without explanation.
After contacting Reverb to ask why they had cancelled my purchase I was informed it was due to "suspicious activity".
I asked them to explain to me what what kind of "suspicious activity" had occured and all they could tell me that the purchase was deemed suspicious and therefore was cancelled.
No further explanation was given.
They then said I would have to provide them with proof of who I was and asked for my Australian driver's licence and credit card details which I photographed and emailed to them.
In the end it got sorted and my purchase went through. However I ended up and additional $70 out of pocket due to bank and exchange rate fees.
If they had only contacted me first instead of just arbitrarily cancelling my order I would have been far less pissed off and $70 better off!

After getting no bites here, I sold my Lexicon PCM-60, PCM-41 and NS-10's through Reverb to fund my Blackspade UM-18R purchase. All went quite smoothly with happy buyers and seller. Optimally, I would have preferred to sell it here with no fees and all - but this is a community with quite the narrow range of interests, and that can be a two-edged sword. Thumbs up for Reverb from me.

I bought my Svartbox on RGO. I sold some 52-pair cable on RGO. All good experiences. Thank you, John! I usually try RGO first, then Reverb, then e bay. Craigslist for anything awkward to ship, like rack cases or Marshall stacks.

I'm all about buying/selling without fees. I prefer to buy/sell here, but will use the purple site and Reverb for a wider reach. The action is a bit slow on Reverb, but I like the site. Stuff tends to sell quicker on eBay, but man, those fees...good lord.

I wouldn't want 200K members...but we're NOWHERE near that. We get really good traffic, though. And the users we have are very loyal! I want to get as big as we can retaining the same honest conversation.
