Unfortunately West will probably live 'til he's 90.
No love lost over Kayne West from a friend of mine over here.
He ran two Kayne sessions at a studio here in Melbourne some years ago while West was in town.
West turned up with an entourage of body guards and personal assistants.
After the second session my friend had enough and refused to run a third.

He's a talented artist.
But that ridiculous ego just negates so much of what he does. It's impossible for me to like any artist (or person) that puts themself on a pedestal looking down at everyone else.

that queen thing is a knee slapper, the thing with McCartney was equally horrible, but I hear he's the voice of a generation  (by his own words....), can anyone link me something this tool has done that reveals actual talent? |

I was talking to the guy at one of the local record stores on Friday, the best thing for sales if your not Adel or Taylor Swift is to Die these days, When Glenn fry died couldn't keep anything in stock and ITunes had problems Friday same thing with Prince!

Back to the original subject, I have told a ton of out of work programmer / musicians is that somebody needs to make an interface / software so that all the old alesis BRC's could be used with DAWs via HUI would be Awesome!

If you can't appreciate Gold Digger, you won't get any of it. Gold Digger, Blkkk Skkkn Head, Runaway, Love Lockdown. The guy is just a great songwriter. Life of Pablo is a really interesting record, lots of instrumentals. While his rap flow is great, he was probably instrumental in pushing mainstream rappers to look outside of the idea of just alternating "Beats" and look at more elaborate arrangement methods and more interesting rhythms and instrumentation. |
