Anyone here entering this or helping someone out to audition for the role? Duplicating the original doesn't take much range, but it would take a lot of tone and attitude. What would be better? Try to be a clone of Scott Weiland or be unique? See here: www.facebook.com/stpband/

Who the hell would want this job? Seems like two steps away from selling merch. You get to ride around on a band wagon and make $500 a week singing some other guy's songs in a karaoke voice so that you can perform to a room full of 40 year old men? In hopes of getting the job with Mick Jones fronting Foreigner. Meh. This is a go-nowhere job financially and artistically. It only counts to be a rockstar when it's you. Otherwise you are a poser.

Maybe there's some dude out there who sounds a helluva lot like Scott Weiland and touring around being a poser would beat the living piss out of his current job at Taco Bell?

Like that guy in Journey, and he's doing a pretty good job.
