Just bought cowboycoalminer 's 2016 Gibson J45 last night. I don't know who all has played it here, but he said Johnkenn played it at a Nashville gathering a few years ago. It sounds really, really good. One of the best "new" Gibson acoustics I've heard, honestly. I wasn't thinking about this at the time, but 2016 is also the year my son was born, so that really adds to its meaning. I hope Søren plays guitar someday - would love to pass this one on to him and tell him the stories of how supportive you all were when he was hospitalized for so long back in 2017-2019. Thanks, Herb!

Trying to think of things I’ve bought in the last quarter. Actually sold more… Strings! String tuner bit for my drill Strip lights for under desk (badass) M-Audio Keystation 88 for $125! Axe FX3 (thanks, svart!) Lots of plugs Got a Husky Workbench/cabinet for Xmas But the best thing I got was a friend sitting down and showing me how to properly set up my guitars. (I never remembered if you tune to the harmonic or the fretted 12th or the blah blah…)mean, it’s like I’m twice the player because shit is in tune. Everywhere. It’s glorious.

I'd just like to take a moment and point out the Ferengi Rules of Acquisition, which every RGOer should be familiar with. The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition[/u] 1. Kind of an expensive but boring upgrade. I bought another 8 channels of A/D for my Lynx Aurora. Now I have 24 analog and another 24 of digital inputs; AES and ADAT.
Lynx has great support. Paul is the man!

More stuff for live 2 Martin Mach M20.06 Loudspeaker Management systems. Literally BSS Omnidrive Compacts with a different control panel and presets for the Martin MACH boxes. Gee Nobody at Harmon took 15 seconds to think Speakers from a lighting Company that is easily confused with a guitar company and a British Speaker manufacturer would be confusing and a hard sell? Their stupidity is my bargain on the used market. Another very cheap Stewart World 2.1 and trying to grab another. Yes there are more powerful, and lighter amps but find me a more efficient amp, no less one that is going for so little used. Also got the schematics from Stewart and a NOS copy of Norton System Works 2000 to find out what’s conflicting with the RS232 port on one of the windows 98 laptops used with BSS Soundweb designer and 9088ii’s as well as Soundbench for Omnidrive’s and Varicurves for preset backup.
Looking at more ATA racks and a book on speaker reconing.

Pop it in with a couple standoffs and replace the cover plate and you're all set. The new channels automatically get detected. Worked like a charm.
