Exiting a local thrift shop I Randomly found a pristine AKG D130, with case and all. $20!
It's a omnidirectional dynamic, made in Austria. I like it.

I just want to sound like Pink Floyd. Is there a way I can modify it with a Beetles/Floyd switch or something so that I can toggle the sound I'm after? |

SSL B6 is here now.
It has a taken a bit to nail the routing but I now have it receiving and summing 12 tracks. As I understand it, 14 channels are possible if you will be using the board to monitor as 15/16 is the path back for monitoring. Next will be moving the 500 rack cabling to the board master insert.
So far with playing around, it sounds punchy yet a little thin. I know the other gear will add some of that back, easy peasy. Will know for sure, very soon.

Picked up an Arp Solina String Ensemble. Needs a little TLC (what old stuff doesn't?) but I guess if you are going to have a "string machine" might as well be this one!

These Beesneez stereo pairs I got sound amazing. The BC12a sounds so similar to the C12a which blows my mind. The BU67 mk2 sounds easily as good as my U67’s. mics Ben is definitely making my favourite authentic sounding clones no doubt. All for less than the price of 1 mic. And the new logo looks great !
