sean I was lusting over that mic so much... Definitely wasn’t planning on buying a U67 today but got it at a fair price and it’s in great condition. Excited for it to show up! Like Matt said above.... nice buy and good for you Sean!

At that point in my life where I’m just trying to buy “forever” pieces and I think this will be one. The only problem is I’m often tempted by cheap “deals” that just sit in the rack or mic locker unused when I should just save for stuff like this.

Traded a Roland RS09 for a Sennheiser MD441. Also, bought Kontakt 6 and the Arturia V Collection and probably going to buy a KeyLab 61 MK II and set up a soft synth computer at the studio using those and all the random IK Multimedia stuff I got in the group buy. I just have to take the time to set it up to be user friendly as possible or no one is going to touch it!

Ok cut me off for the holidays. Just bought a pair of Groove Tube MD3A. These are pretty rare, designed after Sony C37A with Josephson capsules

Every time I look at the dust, on the U47 bought for $50 bucks, from that Garage sale 10 years ago... It's the same old feeling. Chris P.S. That reminds me, to finally put one of my "mint"/still in the original box VF-14's in it.

Just picked up this bad boy at a pawn shop. Shure SM59. I look forward to seeing how it is on guitar amp or snare drum.

I'm getting a new roof today!! :-( Costing as much as 2-3 years of heavy gear purchases.) Gonna put a crimp on gear for awhile I'm afraid..... Not only that - they do it in one day. Great business to be in it seems.....

Great business to be in it seems..... As long as home-improvement is fair game, I had new gutters installed yesterday. Lots of "crimping" going on, but not the same as you reference. Surprised the workers showed up at 8:00 AM in 15 degree fahrenheit weather. Not so great to be a gutter installer this time of year.

Tascam TH-200x headphones for $30 on sale. New phantom power supply box, mainly to experiment further with the Soyuz Launcher, on my condensers. Chris P.S. Put the 57 TAB-58 idea on the backburner.

I got some plugins, but nobody on Hard Core Hardware RGO wants to hear about that! LOL. Only the Hardest of Hardware News for RGO.
I also got a bunch of saxophone accessories, which is pretty exciting. Including a couple of mouthpieces. The Hite Premiere I got was disgustingly manufactured, so I refaced the thing by eye, and now it actually plays pretty well. Not bad for a first try.
The "pro" mouthpiece I ordered from Sweetwater got lost in the mail somewhere along the way, I am hoping it eventually shows up. Good thing I ordered that cheap Hite Premiere in the mean time.
