I got a couple of power strips for the racks. Has 10 outlets. 8 have induvidual switches on the front so now gear like my LTLO Silver Bullet has on on off switch(Probably the only bad thing about it honestly) and my Lindell 500 rack too(Seriously, any 500 rack without a power switch on the front is useless. The whole point is to be moduluar!) the other 2 outlets(one front one rear) are constant power, no switches with is also handy. And it has 2 USB power ports for phones and other such things.
Oh and way cheaper than a Furman unit. Im happy so far. Will see how it goes.

Free plug-ins that are fun when you've got time on your hands... a VST/AU/AAX IR loader Avid is giving away: Convology XTI was looking for an IR browser plug-in I could use across DAWs, this works. Arturia's Analog Lab 4 and Pigments 2.0 are free until July 4th: ArturiaI'm fairly far down a MIDI guitar rabbit hole at the moment, so lets throw another 6,500 presets into the fray.

Semi-related. If anyone is looking for a great free IR loader specifically for guitar and bass cabinet IR, the best I have found is the STL Tones NadIR. It comes with their Ignite free bundle. The Emissary amp that comes with it is very good also.
If you want a great free amplifier head to go with it I recommend the Poulin Hy Brit. It's a Marshall emulator, and it's pretty spot on.
All that's missing is a cabinet IR. There are many free ones floating around. Or you can start buying the fancy ones.
I used the Ownhammer Heavy Hitter Marshall 4x12 G12T75 SM57 IR with this signal path, and I was flabbergasted at the guitar tone blasting out of my mix position. Who said great sounds have to be expensive.

So as I began searching again, I read where some of you guys had tried and really liked Pelonis 42s and then when I read up on the 4288s, they seemed like they checked a lot of the boxes for me. I ordered and have on the way the Last new pair of those in existence. I am very excited about that. As a new Pelonis 42 owner, I'm really excited to hear about your 4288s. Those are the 42 mid/high concentric speaker with the Pelonis subwoofer in each speaker. Bad ass!!

Your mentioning of how happy you were were a large part of my willingness to try them. Oh boy! The pressure is on.
I'm not worried, though :-}
I'm curious why this is one of the last new pair? Is Chris P. discontinuing them?

I **think** the Covid stopped them from working and they aren’t making them at the moment. That’s the impression that got. They are temporarily out of production.

Any noticeable noise, hum, RF, buzz or extraneous jittery inter-galactic signals pop up since installing? I had 27 uinque circuits in heavily shielded conduit and BX cabling installed in my studio by the best electrician I could find (musician as well) who ran 7 unique earhs/grounds to contain all possible skitter and whatnot and provide pure conditioned AC to all the gear. So if I were you, before I would go that route, I would really want to know if they degrade the electricity in any way.

The main thing to look out for is build quality. Other than that, they are all basically wires and connectors in a box, with some possible small amounts of filtering, which may or may not even really do much. I have been using an older model of the DJ Power strip for years and it's 100% fine.

Hi everybody, new guy here. I found this place looking for opinions on which CAPI and AML stuff to build.
I know now that was pointless because I want it all! Anyway, here's what I built so far this month:
the LC25 kits arrived today and JLM LA500s have been sitting at the Brisbane airport for 10 days, so who knows on those. It hasn't even been a month yet and I'm already thinking about a second rack.

I have pretty clean power as it is. So not worried much to have it filtered. Be nice to have a UPS in the future but I. Doing fine without for now.
