Great band. If you like Led Zeppelin and want a live Zeppelin-like experience, I highly recommend seeing them if they come to your town/city. I was a bit skeptical about them before the show, but they blew me away. I enjoyed that they didn't try to look like Led Zeppelin, but they sure do a great imitation of their album cuts and live it's so much bigger/better.

For you Fractal Audio people, here's an interview with GTLO's Paul Hammond who uses Fractal Audio's AXE FX as a clean front end unit that feeds both his Marshall amps in stereo. The effects-both guitar and vocal- were a big part of Zep's sound (flanged drums anyone?) and sounded superb. Of course it was guitar heaven with three guitarists playing Goldtop LP's, 59 reissues, Tele's, Strats, 12 string electrics, a double necked SG that was a 12 string and a 6 string, 12 string acoustics, Martin 6 string acoustics, a mandolin and a theremin.

I was in until I hear he wasn't using a Kemper He just uses the FX and apparently it was the fuzz pedal emulation that sealed the deal. Long live rawk.

Paul & Paul are excellent folks so glad to see them doing well. They're also very good at mastering! They did one of my records though have put mastering aside for now as their Rock biz keeps them very busy it seems.
