Pleasant and very present having these on top of the console. Built a 6 slot TAC 500 rack from Sahib, and replaced his PSU connector with a 5 pin XLR to be able to power it from a CAPI/51X Audio Floor box PSU. Despite that the Elysia nVelope is right where you want it when dialing, I can't shake it off that these racks should be DIY eqs only.. A pair of Analog Allstars perhaps.. And finally, a praise to all the DIY kit providers, Jeff Steiger, Brian Horvitz, Mike @ Hairball, Dave @ Don Classics, Volker @ 51X, Peterson Goodwyn, Colin @ Audio maintenance and now Sahib... you guys rock. Big time.

Hey Unit7 what does your desk look like, I am getting neck pain by having to pull my head back to look up at the computer monitor. Yours seems lower with the rack about it. I'm thinking the monitor should be lower on the desk work area and not on the shelf which is 4 rack spaces higher. So annoying I need better ergonomics. Wanna have my head facing down like when I am typing on the keyboard.

Not scientifically done but seem to be ergonomic enough because I haven't had any neck pain since I installed it in 2008. Couldn't find a better pic of it than this: realgearonline.com/attachment/download/1397..from a Show me your studio thread here at RGO
