I like the Red Dots a lot better than any of the others. Find them to roll off some of the very top and beefier in the bottom. I would pretty much choose that in every iteration...I know some people talk about liking the Gar's for EG's and other things though...Now you need a VC528 to run it through too...

Joey, i have red dots, gar 2520's, 1731's, sc2520's, i have to agree with john, my favorites are the red dots overall, they sound straight out of the 70's on acoustic guitar!, but that doesn't mean the others aren't useful, my lc53 eq's have a smoother character overall with the 1731's, and the gar 2520's sounds good for more metal guitar sounds, used in a Vp28, they give a little more bottom.
this is my experience, some guys don't hear it this way, my recommendation, is tryem all, they're all useful, the differences become more apparent when they're in your hands, in the equipment you're familiar with.

As you know I'm not a builder, lol! I did get them built. Will i need 2 red dots per unit?
Thanks Tony, Truly grateful!
