I wonder if jsteiger is still working on his CAPI console? The other day, in a last ditch, I ran every last track from a mix that had me scratching my head, through my Vp28's and Lc53a's, and it was friggin amazing what they did to the sound! All things being the same, it went from total shit, to 85-90% mixed! just awesome, i want the Capi console....BAD! |

All things being the same, it went from total shit, to 85-90% mixed! just awesome, i want the Capi console....BAD! Man I hope , Dream , pray That Jeff is still working on it! The XL is what I had hoped the X would be in many ways, The mistake I see at this point in the XL Desk are 1. It should be scale able, an expander ala XPanda is needed. 2. Rather than build in the 500 rack simply make the strips line up with 500 racks rather than build them in . I always said the mistake Tonelux made was not to build a frame that would make the modules line up with 500 modules. Long term Scalable is the winner in the new console game! |
