Federal Tax is 39% tho... Sounds fair if you win 1,5 billion. In Germany there is no Tax if you win the loterry but the Jackpot is maybe just 30 Million... I would not wine about it ......

I haven't checked my ticket yet, but when I verify I won, I will set up regular posters here with $100,000 gift card for eBay to buy about any gear they want! I know that will hurt and only leave me with $1,498,000,000 in change, but I'll do my best to survive 8)
hell, make it $200,000 each! I'm feeling frisky! Haha

The problem with the lottery the chances that you wins re very small... But from time to time I ride a ticket.... I once had 5 numbers right that was 1800 Euros for doing nothing. Not bad...

I heard it was a freaking hedge fund manager that won. Insult to injury. There was a winner in TN! Tell Wade he can bring mine to NAMM! The lottery I have always said I would buy the person who sold me the ticket a new car or pay for them to go to school! As Mrs Hi at the Corner store down the street from my house in Galveston would say " Here you go gaurantee loser , you win you get your money back". Still miss here egg rolls!
