Anyone have experience with this build? PCB's are pricey, over $100 a piece. He throws in some transistors with that. Over $240 for a pair of just the PCB's. Wondering if these are worth it?

This is probably my favorite eq. And I have many. It is everything you like about neve. Warm, silky, and can do beautiful things to guitars and vox and everything. Someday I want to build 8. I use it a lot. Oh and Bluzzi is as good as they get. Dan Deurloo also has really nice front panel for it that he color matched to his own neve consoles royal gray. Super pro build.

Everything you need is at gdiy. The bom is actually uploadable to digikey so he's made everything a breeze. The most expensive part is the aml order.

the ez1073 is the easiest build ive ever done. i dont know if the 1084 is the same as far as coloring book and everything, but if it is its probably even easier.

The EZ1084 eq sounds great. It is also a really easy build. I use this eq 99% more often then the ez1073 eq. I pretty much only use the 1073 eq when using the pre.

Just ordered a pair. Should be cool when the 1290LE add on preamp is available too. I like the eq's in my ez1073, so these should be a nice addition.

Just finished my pair. They sound great. Bluzzi was first class with support during the build, and Dan and his Collective Cases makes for a great looking build as well. Highly recommended. Attachments:

Well, they're already in my rack and in use! Internal shots now would be a lot of work! The power supply case came from Dan at Collective Cases, as well as the 1084 cases. I used the Five Fish Audio 2448Plus power supply. Very quiet and an easy build with good docs. Got the power cable from Jeff at CAPI. Pretty straight forward. Bluzzi (Jim) was always quick and very helpful in answering questions during the build.
