Damnit...Heritage is finally on the 24 month no interest plan for the Sweetwater card. Might have to bet on my future a bit.

I wish they would do 24 months for Sterling Modular products. I've outgrown this IKEA desk i've had since 2007!

We have a pair of Heritage Audio 8173's in a HA 80 Series 8 channel Rack. I was not sure whether to go down the 80 series path as original 80 Series Neve's are so expensive. However the 8173's are great and we already had a 3115 Neve which I modified to fit into the 80 Series rack. Looking to get a couple more Heritage 80 series as finances allow. Not sure whether to go for more 8173's or maybe a pair of 6673's. The odd thing is the 1084's are more expensive than the 8173 which have far more EQ points than the 1084 although the 1084 does have selectable 'Q'.

I wish they would do 24 months for Sterling Modular products. I've outgrown this IKEA desk i've had since 2007! Sorry for the OT, but.... Just bought a Sterling Modular Chuck. You're right, damned expensive and 24 months would have eased the pain a bit. But I think it was the right decision for me. I got a modified plan C - with the open middle section like an E and a bunch of goodies. Buying thru VK saved me a bit. Not a huge amount though. IMO, there's nothing else like them out there - and I looked everywhere. Didn't really want to take on a custom ground up build. It's sitting in my garage now, waiting for the CRM to be finished. Or at least the paint and flooring put in.... Remind me in a few weeks and I'll let ya know how it went. I'm always a little apprehensive of MDF products.... They're supposed to be great in that respect though....

Tonycamp and I were designing one for him to build for me, but it never developed. I have a couple Euphonix controllers, so i've been looking at the Artist Mix Desk they offer. The design we came up with was a straight up ripoff of it, but it had a sliding tray for an 88-key controller as well. We hadn't finished the legs. sterlingmodular.com/gallery/ph_multi-station-gallery-01.jpghard to beat what they offer for $2400. altho, i'm a little light on the number of rack spaces I'd need. when I calculated everything I had, I included the PSUs for my 51x racks, and that's 4RU that shouldn't be placed by the gear.

Cowboy what are you using in its place? RTZ's Cowboy, did you ever get the chance to compare the RTZ to a Pueblo or an NPNG?
