You really have to be a 500 series fan or this thing has to be pretty awesome to justify $550 for a 500 series digital verb with limited control! $150-200 for a used M-one is its biggest completion!

I'm so interested in the Mercury7, if Strymon is any indication, I bet it will be great. I'll be stuck at my boof, but maybe I can sneak over before doors on one of the days.

What I'd like to know is how do they do stereo in a single 500 Series slot?
I assume they must wire the XLR I/O as unbalanced pin 2 > right, pin 3 > left?
It is a stereo module?

Stereo linkable i.e. two units; probably connected via ribbon cable like the Moog 500 delays? Okay, so it's mono. Kind of makes it less desirable. I suppose you could process the left channel, print the verb and then process the right channel and print the verb. However it kind of screws your workflow. Think I'll pass. Already have a 480L and are looking at a Bricasti.

The more I look at this, the cooler it is...
HOLD to access Alt Functions: Alt knob functions are available while this button is being held...

We are stereo linkable with 2 modules by a single internal cable. Advantages are dedicated DSP per channel, dedicated A/D D/A converter per channel, low noise floor & crosstalk. -terry

Yes, I want it. It will pair nicely with the OB6. *sigh* I've got to save more money than expected.

Please check it out when you all get a chance -terry they seem cool, and to have quite a vibe, what I didn't like about the vid is he was playing the guitar into the null of the SM7? i'd like to hear the immediacy of the guitar in contrast to the reverb to sense the depth, the source was just attached to the verb most of the time, maybe i need to watch again after work...

Yea I want a pair of these. I really like my 440 pres for using guitar pedals for mixdown etc. The price is a little steep for my budget while I already have quite a few outboard reverbs, but I do love Meris.
