Today Radiohead released the supposed to be Bond-song for everyone to listen for free. A nice christmas present.

Whoever picked the song used rather than this is clearly not a music affecianado or someone who wishes to honor the musical legacy of the Bond franchise.
The last great Bond song was written and sung by Chris Cornell.

Yupp. I had the hope that the track with Jack White would have been much better, but have been disappointed. Not particularly bad, but not great either, and the duet does not work for me, definitely much weaker than the Chris Cornell song or this Radiohead track, overconscientious pathos and simply not good enough for my taste.
I better say nothing about the Sam Smith song. Oh my...
(OK, i have to comment that one ... i just have to...
If you are ever asked to make a Bond song, you better write something that is at least better than mediocre and exchangeable or leave it to someone else...
And never tell the press you wrote a Bond title song in 20 minutes except you are sure you are a musical genious with exceptionally good ideas.
