I just refuse to join because it represents the last straw breaking the camel's back. It's sole purpose is to devalue our work and make it a completely frivolous commodity. It's like, it was at a decent price, people kept stealing it... so rather than deal with theft, let's just make the price as close to free as possible. Am I right here or just being a crusty a-hole grinch?

I doubt anyone would admit to using it. Like I've said for years, if I like the band I buy their CD's.

I pay for it and use it. So there. I also buy CD's. Some sort of streaming service is pretty much a requirement for live event instantaneous client requests. Many event clients have Spotify playlists they share, and expect you to be able to access.

I don't have or use iTunes, Spotify, or any the other apps, programs or streaming functions. It's a hard life but I manage.
