Because most people don't know any better. I use KRK Rokit's for everything. Granted they're budget monitors but they sound much better than computer speakers

The headline is misleading. The question is "How do you typically listen to music". Not "How would your prefer to listen to music".
I love this quote from their study:
"Music’s focus over the past decade has been about usability and convenience – being able to get it on as many devices as possible – whilst sound quality has been largely ignored or forgotten in this race to portability.”
Every musician, engineer, produce, songwriter I know hasn't focused on usability and convenience, it's been shoved up our ass by computer companies, Google and Pirates.

Agreed, the headline is crap, that's why I didn't use it. I guess we all already knew this, but it sucks to see the numbers. Maybe my MacBook Pro is actually my best reference system. Haha.
