Standing for TABLETOP 73 and DUAL TABLETOP 73, these are in essence reformatted versions of the DMA73.They bring a new flavor to the Heritage Audio line of outboard gear, widening the range of application to On Stage use, portable systems, hotel rooms, On Location recordings, etc. Now musicians are able to give 1073-driven line levels to FOH engineers, using the front panel DI inputs. While on the road they are able to record at the same studio quality level from hotel rooms, etc. Stage microphones can be brought up to line level without using long cable runs. These are just some of the possibilities. Special care has been taken with the internal worldwide power supply and no noise has been introduced. New to the range of tabletop units is the implementation of DI THRU jacks for simultaneous use of instrument amplifiers. A ground lift switch prevents any ground loops introducing hum in the audio when using these. The combination of wood and RAF blue grey steel makes the tabletop units aesthetically stand out in any professional recording environment and will bring your pro or semi pro facility the touch of class you´re looking for.

Hey I guessed "desktop", although I admit "tabletop" sounds more distinguished! Clearly I should win something for that! Kudos for the design on this.

I’m reviving this 6-yr-old thread! Thinking of buying one of these to pair with my U67.
Anybody own some Heritage stuff?

I’m reviving this 6-yr-old thread! Thinking of buying one of these to pair with my U67. Anybody own some Heritage stuff? I just tested the 500 series version of the preamp along with a couple other Nevish preamps ( AMS, Don, AML and the Heritage ) My favorites were the AMS 1073lb and the Don NV73. After that the AML ez 1073 and the Heritage. And the one I liked the least was the AML EZ1081. The AML and the Heritage are both a little brighter and a bit thinner next to the AMS and the DON. So it really depends what you're looking for. Honestly I'd be happy with any of them. Ultimately I chose the Don as I felt it was the one that best complimented my mics and other preamps I already owned.

Something to consider: Heritage, Lindell and a few other companies are distributed by RAD in the USA. I had a couple of repair/quality issues, one with Lindell and one a power supply for a Heritage 500 rack. Both were taken care of by Seth at RAD without a problem. RAD seems to operate in a sweet spot--not too big to ignore you, but not too small to wonder if they'll disappear on you overnight.

Heritage is top shelf gear.
I own:
Heritage Audio DMA-73 Heritage Audio ‘73EQjr (x2) Heritage Audio Successor Heritage Audio MCM-32 Summing Mixer
All are very well built. No issues. Nothing but sonic beauty. Won’t sell any of these pieces..
