I bought a used ROMpler- Yamaha S90 ES- after playing one at a friend's house and loving the touch/feel of the keys as well as the piano and organ sounds.

Harbor freight? You talking snowblower? Didn't end up with one last year. I was trying to get my hands on one last February, but everywhere was sold out. At the time, Sears could get me one, but it wouldn't be in until March 30. I bailed then and scored it for $150 less (0% interest/24 months too) on Thanksgiving. Sitting in my garage fueled up and ready to rumble now.

Just curious as to what RGer's got on BF I bought: BFD2 to BFD3 upgrade at half off Manic Compressor FF Pro DS U-He Dark Zebra Liquidsonics Reverberate v2 I WENT ALL DIGITAL, WITH A NEW COMPUTER:01. Fractal Design Define R5 Sound Treated Tower 02. ASUS X99 3.1USB PRO Motherboard (Most stable X99 board I could find for overclocking CPU and RAM safely.) 03. i7 5820k CPU (Best price Vs. Performance CPU for my needs with overclocking.) 04. 64GB of G.Skill Ripsaws 4 2800MHz DDR4 RAM 05. Windows 10 06. Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD's (x2, and several more larger SSD's will follow shortly as I can afford them) 07. Noctua 140mm Fans (x4 to quiet things down.) 08. Cooler Master Nepton 280L Liquid Cooler (To keep things cool for overclocking CPU and RAM speeds comfortably.) 09. MSI GTX970 100ME Graphics Card (Best performance to low volume sound ratio I could find to keep my rig quiet) 10. Corsair HXi1000i PSU (The best PSU I could afford for wattage on tap, power consumption efficiency, and a large 140mm fan for quiet airflow.) BONUS PLUGINS/VST'S (I managed to afford a couple extras):11. Slate Custom EQ Bundle (I think there's only one Slate plug I don't own now...that new FG-Bomber/Transient Designer clone.) 12. Arturia V4 Collection (Classic Moog, Arp, Roland, and so forth emulations that really sound authentic, they're still on sale for $200...it's a no brainer.) NOTES:I'm going to be assembling this computer over the course of the next few days, and taking photos (So I will probably start a thread on this soon after things get underway.) I've been researching a new rig for a long time, and waiting till black friday to pull the trigger (so thanks to anyone reading this who posted in my old thread a ways back on the subject of making an X99 rig.) The only place where I "settled" really was with the 850 EVO SSD's instead of bumping up to PRO disks. However, I determined that the slightly faster speeds of the PRO would have less of an impact than I had originally thought, and that it was better to save a little coin to throw at other parts and a few nice software bundles on sale. I can always upgrade drives later, however this way, I won't have to upgrade the RAM/CPU of my computer if I take good care of it for a good five to six years minimum. Maybe longer.

Picked up a Martin Custom Shop OM cutaway acoustic with birdseye maple back & sides and englemann spruce top and maple neck. Sounds great live and records great also.

I got this sweet bass! Also MJUC which is so cheap it seems like it's always on sale. Might end up with a new UAD plugin by the end of the month. Debating between Fairchild and DBX 160.
