Looks like it was 3k in 2004, fwiw. Not something is be interested in in 2016 though.

If you are going from PT to this huge step up it will be stable Don't you have a couple of UA apollo's? cannot imagine the tascam is going to come close plus you will have to learn the whole operating system. I like dog's so it's a cat

I do run pro tools and I have one new apollo, The tascam accepts spdif and adat and is a fully automated mixer with 128 midi tracks so I was sort of thinking of using it perhaps simply as a automated mixer with real faders etc but given its age who know what actual shape it is in but I might go look at it for fun.

In today's world Run away fast ! Those things were clunky and the User Interface was a mess!
