Yeah, I used carbon comps. More true to the originals. I think they make a difference in tube gear. Not so much in solid state gear.

Been wondering why more people arent using them in tube builds. I started using them lately in my CAPI pres and op amps and really like em in comparison.

Which do you like better. I changed one thing in my pultecs and I am torn on which I prefer. Note about the samples. Not what I would do in a mix with these tracks but I am just trying to push the eq's to show strengths and weakness. The vocals I boosted full on at 8k on both. The drums and bass I boosted full at 60hz, cut to 2 then boosted full on at 8k again. dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/45349550/Pultec%20inductors.zipLet me know if you prefer A or B.
