Most people from outside of the EU do not know that France treats thier Muslims very bad. Well they have to work for a living, they can't expect handouts for the rest of their lives. Life is what you make it. Well give them the chance to do thier education. That means spending. It always pays back if a state invests in education.... but mh I think they do not even get a chance to proof it. And thats a big problem not only in France. If we redline them I am not surprised at all that a few of the Paris terrorists hold a French passport.

That's it in a nutshell, they don't have the money. There were riots in France over this issue some time ago if I remember correctly.

There were riots in France over this issue some time ago if I remember correctly. You are right 2005 and Le President Holland told them that things will change, but mh they did not. Its not that they do not want to work, there is a lot of open discrimination against citizens from Algeria. A good friend form Bosten did send me this Link today, very interesting. www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2015/11/16/the-islamic-state-wants-you-to-hate-refugees/?tid=sm_fb

One fact about german social systems and immigrants. Right now e.g. many immigrants are also leaving Germany. This is true for example for our turkish citizens, there more of them leave Germany than come to us. Official statistics show, that each immigrant brings 3,300 Euro plus into the social systems and taxes per year. This is including refugees, children and old people. This means that refugees might cost money in the beginning, but very soon we have a serious benefit from them. This is undeniable. Our age structure is so, that we urgently need immigrants, especially young men and families, like most of the refugees, to *SAVE* our social systems. In fact the german social systems have suffered a substancial loss since the reunion in '89. Amd the tendency was it became worse. And many regular immigrants also left germany again, sometimes after studiying here, because they get better offers e.g. in the U.S. or they want to go back to their home countries where they expect to be treated more respectfully and without the daily racism, that is hard to avoid. Some idiots are everywhere, you know, and to be honest, a certain degree of stereotypes can not be avoided at all. The most ressaintiments against the refugees and open rascism in Germany are happening in eastern cities and states, that have an extremely low percentage of foreighers and other ethnical groups. Conversely this means that there is less rascism and anti-islamism, the more contact we have with these minorities. Politically, the right wing parties try to use angst and comcerms about the refugees to gain votes with stereotypes. But there is also a new left wing rising, especially in the southern european countries that do not profit but pay the toll to the EU. You may have heard from Greece, Spain or Portugal, Greece has been financially blackmailed so to say, Spain made a law that seriously affects the right of assembly and the last portugese votings were simply "not accepted"...it is looking very undemocratic at the moment... Because of these political turf battles, Merkel gets much criticism from her own political party, which can be considered centre-right. But her pro-refugee position has my respect. (Which i most of the time do not have for her politics...) For american standards, it must be said that "centre-right" in Germany equals maybe the democrats practically, while you most probably would define the european left wing parties as ... hm, maybe "extreme communist"? LOL. Hope i could clear a few things up. I did not want to write that much about the topic, but these days it is very hard to not be political and show a political position in Germany. So i hope you can indulge this post...

As much as we must morn those who lost their lives, we must all live like we did the day before, fear, is the goal we must show them they have failed or they win. I go out there I do this because other wise my own little terrorist wins and he and all the little extremists can't win!

My question is why would a Daesh killer spend two years waiting for immigrant status when he or she could get a visitor's visa in just a few days?

Maximize our fear of those they have already de-humanized and there by create more angry possible recruits would be my guess! Anyone who studied 9-11 realizes that the modern terror attach is about much more than the attach it's self. The sad part is the only ones who think dumb islamic terrorist are those who legislate our reaction !

By recruiting domestic citizens it makes it much harder to detect cells, until something bad happens.

In fact it's almost impossible. The cells can raise everywhere anytime, they have a religious code that is hard to detect because it is subtle, they use anonymous mail, phone and scramblers, tunneled internet connections that are impossible to decrypt. (Tor+VPN, PGP for mail etc...). And the organization is not nearly this structured, as we should think. If we go the way to hunt in this region, we have already 1984 in an even worse interpretation. Unfortunately....it is already much further than i EVER thought it would come. Surveillance that could sniff these cells out is the end of freedom - for everyone. And we already give away all our data every day. Im fact the Stasi in GDR wasn't near as effective. And their "informal colleagues" were what is the nightmare of a civilized society, the end of freedom on all levels.
