I don't usually post this kind of thing, and I'm not sure it's even appropriate or allowed, but I own one of these mics and it is exceptional!...good enough to hold it's own up against a similar build tweaked and voiced by our own resident microphone genius, Shannon Rhoades...this one is built by Robert Sestili, who's no slouch in the restoration and building department, although he does not re-skin or tune capsules as Shannon does... This is the RMS269, modeled after the classic Neuman M269c...this version from RMS Audio has a slightly more modern voicing with a nice top-end sheen...exceptional vocal mic, male or female...I highly recommend it, and if it can be grabbed for anywhere near the opening bid price of $1200 on this "open-box/demo" auction, it's a damn steal!...solid-Neumann style PSU, Gotham cable, and heavy duty roadcase... So this is just a simple "heads-up" to anyone looking for a beautiful M269-inspired tribute mic at a potentially crazy-good price! Auction: www.ebay.com/itm/301759282582
