Can anyone recommend a drop in ceiling diffuser that would fit in a 2x4 drop ceiling grid? Relative affordability would be nice.

Is anybody using the Auralex T Fuser? I'll admit, I spent a lot of time reading the Purple Place's Studio Build/Acoustics Forum and building diffusors looked so complicated and expensive to build, with so many dissenting views about what was correct, that I never took the time to add diffusion to my studio. I would probably put these T Fusor diffusors on the back wall attached to my 6" OCF 703 panels, but at $65.00 a piece it just seems to good to be true. So, any input/experience with these diffusors would be welcome.

i remember the T being pretty useless! That was my first thought due to how complex the diffusors I've seen looked compared to the plastic, built-by-a-mold- T Fusor. Wish I was more handy with a skill saw and carpentry in general.

hofa-akustik.de/en/Hofa has some pretty handy and affordable modular acoustic treatments as well. If they are half as good as their plugs are, they are winners.

I just got some diffusers and panels from them for a drum cloud I'm going to build. I will let you know how it turns out.

build a couple of these, hang them and place some insulation on top of them. perfect for a cloud unless you have a low ceiling.

you can also get them as drop in for ceiling grids.

Ceiling diffusers are easy to build too, if you have any basic woodworking skills.
