Well, I was drinking a Sazerac when I posted this...
Peychauds and Angustora bitters with a smidgen of Absynth (or Sambuca), simple syrup and your choice of Rye Whiskey.

That sounds good! I'm usually more of a gin person myself, if we're talking spirits.
Only had Absinthe once, may or not have been on psychedelics at the time. bad times.
