Should be corrected now. Let me know if you still see it happening.

I was expecting to see a story about Jimmy Page jumping out in front of young girls, throwing his trenchcoat open and flashing them 8)
Still doing it, it's really annoying!

this has been going on for a very long time now, is it them trying to combat ad blocker software? it happens whether i turn ad blocker on or off, they're delusional if they think they're going to compete with google? it's making them look bad, it's incredibly distracting, as i read posts i have to constantly reset my eyes from losing my place, it's not cool at all, proboards needs to resolve this sooner than later.

I've never experienced the page flashing... what computational device are you on? and what browser? I'm on a Mac pro and google chrome.

Think it has to do with some of the ads being flash.

I've never experienced the page flashing... what computational device are you on? and what browser? I'm on a Mac pro and google chrome. Using Win7 and Firefox. It doesn't flash or jump for me with either the ads enabled or disabled. Maybe the problem is with how Chrome renders the page.

I don't get any problems on Iron browser or Chrome. On my phone I get randomly assigned to either a full version of the site or a mobile version of the site, and when I try to type on either one, it'll jump around when I'm typing.

Smooth sailing here....until I just typed this. Never had an issue before, but while I was typing just now it flashed. I'm on 10.9, Chrome, no ad blockers. I use "internet" on my Galaxy and don't have issues there.

JohnKenn must be working on it. I notice a placeholder for the top page ad now, but no ad.

OK - so I think I've figured out what the deal is...but there are still two ads that seem to be an issue. BUT, the times it happens now should be decreased.
