I myself am not. I went to a few meetings many years ago but not lately. I think the other guys are active though.

I am an ex EARS president and loyal and active EARS member. We meet the last TUES. of each month, usually at a different studio each month. Come on down! We have a good attendance from all genres of music being recorded in Chicago. Usually around 40-50 people come out to the meetings. Dues are reasonable and you do NOT have to be an EARS member to attend a meeting. Variously in our membership we include studio owners, engineers, producers and pro-doo-sahs, gear designers, acoustics people, musicians, all those interested in recording, students from DePaul, Northwestern and Columbia etc. We have super famous people there like Harry Brotman and also we welcome those who are just starting out. www.ears-chicago.org |
