with Futurlec, they have horrid communication skills, and back order simple itemss for months at a time, I had to threaten to report them to my CC company to evoke a response after 2 months of waiting on my order with no word... of course they charged my card immediately upon my order, i will never use them again.

My first experience with Futurlec was pretty bad but I've made plenty of orders with them since then and all have arrived although never timely.
They're cheap and have the values I need so once I've placed an order I just switch off until something arrives..

Tayda Electronics, for the win.
Futurlec was my first big parts order, never again. Too long of waiting with nary a word is the main problem.

The one and only time I used them, the order took 2 months and was missing some items when I finally got it. Futurlec sucks!! Gary

Used them some 5 times--always timely with no problems. YMMV, or course...

I used them once. Took about 3 months. I emailed them repeatedly with no replies. Suddenly a package arrived out of nowhere, no return address, but only a customs form. It was my order.
Also, be aware that there is "futurelec" and "future electronics", which are different companies, the latter being a really good company.

And they don't even have to manufacture, just retail...
Always stood away from them. Too many mixed reviews, some really frightening. There are others, so why should one take the risk to be annoyed for months and months with something he could have gotten elsewhere in a few days.
Tayda looks interesting. Esp. because they are used to do international shipping. At these prices still interesting after import taxes and fees.
