Man, I think I may have the worst luck selling things on Craigslist, RGO, that purple place, ect...
It always happens that I get someone on the line then lose the deal. I think 85% of the time an email gets lost in the spam votex, and by the time you realize that the buyer has not got back to you, they have moved on.
Anyone else have this problem?

Yes, I have had a lot of mixed luck, but I have a recent success story. I saw a cheap drum set on Craigslist for $50. I bought it but decided I wanted a Gretsch kit. Kept the two pedals, hi-hat, other cymbals and stands, and sold only the shells on Craigslist for $185. Took $160 of that the next day and bought a beautiful Les Paul clone that I had been eying on Craigslist for weeks. So I ended up getting the pedals, hi-hat, cymbals, stands, and guitar for $25. I had a guy offer my $450 yesterday for my Chandler TG1 with Power Supply (that I have listed for $3400 + shipping). Thanks man for wasting my time and yours. Unreal.

After many years of writing sales descriptions, I am still astonished at times by the lack of reading comprehension. Sometimes it's a plain lack of reading.

I've actually had a lot of luck with Kijiji over the last couple of years. Yes, 80% of the responses are stupid, but I find it easy to ignore those. I tried GS and got no reasonable responses at all.
