I won a bid on a supercharger for my old bronco once on eBa y, got it for a song, until the guy said he changed his mind(claimed it fell off the shelve when he went to pack it), I said " I want it as is and broken", yeah right, I filed a complaint and gave him a neg feedback, I know he appealed it, but it actually stayed with him for some time, I don't know if it stuck for good? I gave up on checking back to the status.

I've never used one of these on vox. But the 1084 is really great when it comes to filling out the bottom end and mids on vox. Super solid sounding and detailed.

I always prefer my 1084's over 1081's..except on kick drum.the dang eq!
personally I'd likely just get another pair of AML 1073's,take a vacation with the savings and call it a day.
