I really wanted to like Chandler stuff, but I ultimately ended up selling the TG2 - just ended up choosing other stuff over it. Also tried out the Germ pre...didn't love it. Thought it was dark and flat. Not trying to rain on the parade, though.

He makes a big range of stuff.... I think I like from what I've heard I like the LTD-1, Little Devil EQ, Germanium Comp, Zener limiter

The TG2 is to upper mid for "me", was used on Katy Perry Teenage Dream vocal you can hear how bright it can get for a Pop vox. LTD-1 sounds like a BAE kinda (Dark and big) Sits in the Neve family. I want to hear his Little Devil Pre but heard the 500 EQ and it is a must have for me... I want 10! I'm going to get a pair of Germ Comps here too... I love colorful mojo comps !!!!!!! If i want transparent Ill sit in the box. |

I dunno about anyone else but I'm tired of everyone making their version of a Neve 1073 or 1272 preamp. I'm looking for something new, something that brings a unique quality to the table. And I'm much more interested in channel strips than straight preamps.

For sure! Drip la2a (diy) and serpent sb4001, serpent La3a (ask me more in a few weeks  ) They all get more action and are things I would never want to be without. I track and mix with these all the time. I honestly never track with the germ comps. I've got more comps but these are the winners. Oh, I should also mention a pair of modded aphex 661's that are great tools and a modded distressor that now rules, I hated it before. These are less mojo and more shaping tools. So it depends on what you need. |
