A friend of mine is looking to buy a "reasonably priced" board just to up his mic pre count. He already has some nice color pres so I suggested he check out the Line Audio 8MP as a way to add quality clean channels for not too much bread. Has anyone had any experience with the Line Audio mic press? I own a pair of Line Audio CM3s and use them a lot--amazing for the money.

I had Black Lion mod a Behringer ADA8000 and the Pre's on that are extremely good, not to mention the conversion is better than a Rosetta to my ears. The unit is like $179 and I think BLA has a 20% special right now too. That unit has ADAT in and out for the mic pres and line outputs. Handy to have and like I said, it sound fantastic.

Always been curious about Line Audio (people seem to recommend their 8MP on threads on the other site all the time) but can't figure out where one would actually obtain one in the US... do you have to order from Sweden? All of the sellers I've ever found on google and ebay are all selling in EURO or SEK. Thanks! You can buy direct from Line Audio. But I and others have found it easier to buy from No Hype Audio. JP is totally legit, ships quickly and answers all questions etc. As I mentioned, I bought a pair of CM3s from No Hype but not the pre.
