scum, your link came up ??, i did look at the spring verb, is that the one your talking about? If your using it in the studio, just build a real spring reverb, they're easy, you can put a few different length tanks on a piece of plywood, and have choices for under a $100 bucks! the real deal sounds better in my view.
for $79 on the pedal, it's worth a shot no?
good luck

I'd recommend not building a spring reverb when there's spring tanks from amps going cheap. I tried to do it when I was about 17 and sourcing parts was tough.
Behringer do a digital emulation of a spring reverb. Might sound like heresy but a spring is a relatively simple reverb to model - it's more or less a single delay line per spring. Danelectro do a Spring Pedal too - with a little kick pad and all!

I disagree, any reverb is a tough emulation compared to the real thing. spring reverb tanks are cheap as hell, and it's easy to build a 3 tank panel, of various sizes, for multiple choices and you'll have the real deal to use on aux channels. I find that a real spring verb kills emulation, much in the same way a real emt 140 kills a uad emt 140 plugin if you hear them both in person, on a quality rig. i'm building 2-emt 140 clones for my studio shortly, they will live outside my room, in they're own roofed/insulated/weather protected and climate controlled shed, a bit of a pita, but worth it imv 8) www.accutronicsreverb.comwww.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.Xspring+reverb+tanks&_nkw=spring+reverb+tanks&_sacat=0&_from=R40

I'd forgotten the name, accutronics!
I have an impulse library of some springs - odd ones, mostly, Boss Echoplex and the BX20. But nothing beats the real deal, especially with what you could build around it (Why does no one set up a feedback loop around a spring reverb with an allpass filter in it like they do in digital reverbs? Could be cool...)
Spring Reverb is probably one of my favourite effects when put to good use. Have a wide, bright reverb and a spring sitting in the middle can lend a really nice sense of space and depth.
